Have you ever been stabbed at the back by someone you trusted so much?
Have you ever been ignored, dumped or cheated by the person you can’t live without?
Have you ever been left by someone very important in your life and is never coming back because he/she is now in the hands of God?
Have you ever been battered or physically abused that you can't even dare close your eyes at night because the memory is haunting you and shattering you into pieces?
Have you ever been rejected or publicly humiliated that you wished the earth would open up and swallow you whole to end the torment?
Has it ever crossed your mind that you wanted to end your life?
Stand up, know that you have survived all the challenges in life and have become a better, stronger person. Be proud of those SCARS and tell the world that you remain UNDEFEATED no matter what.
A Mantra is a word, motto or message that you strongly believed in and may have already been part or has provided great impact in your life. A friend once posted in Facebook about a Suite of Band and Orchestra called Scarred But Undefeated. They are so great giving me goosebumps all over my body and yes... it seems like the term reminded me of all the worst things that happened in my life.
In one of the forum sites that I am currently active at, the contest for the month is about your mantra. I thought of entering "C'est La Vie" just for the heck of it but later on I remembered this. We are tasked to create a poster and a 150 word writeup. So there, I just let it all out. Yeah, me on emotional wreck state.
The SCARS stay but only skin deep. Just to remind myself that when I face the same situations again I'll just show it to them and tell them "Hey, you can never defeat me EVER!" (
...and waving them my bird finger.)
Feels just so good to have my writing appetite back.
What's your Mantra?
